Hello Wood was founded in 2010 by architect András Huszár, media designer Dávid Ráday, architect Péter Pozsár, and economist Maxim Bakos. Due to its fresh, youthful, and innovative artist-architect attitude, Hello Wood has become a renowned architect and art lab, an installation artist, a distinctive social organizer, and an award-winning architect collective in the region in a short period of time.
Utilizing our years of expertise in architectural innovation, we expanded our portfolio to include hospitality operations. Drawing from our own experiences at the multipe-award winning Rock Cabins, which we designed, built, and have been operating as well, we understand the essence of what people enjoy. Our first-rate design not only manifests in aesthetics and comfort but also in operational efficiency.
We design and deliver high-quality architectural developments using CLT technology and natural materials. Through large-scale projects, resort developments, CLT houses, and our PEBL cabin system, we create durable, functional, and well-designed spaces.
Shaping the future of sustainable timber architecture by creating inspiring places to live, stay, and connect with nature. Through innovative design, advanced construction methods, and CLT technology, we set new standards for contemporary architectural development.
We believe in the synergy of technology and innovation, fostering live connections with universities and staying at the forefront of the latest research. (Our commitment to technological innovation drives us to create sustainable, high-quality solutions that exceed expectations and inspire positive change.)
A culture of environmental responsibility drives our commitment to sustainability. We prioritise eco-conscious practices in all aspects of our work, from design to production and beyond.
We recognise the impact of our business on communities and strive to make a positive difference. Through initiatives that support education, equality, and well-being, we aim to contribute to a more inclusive and just society.
We are committed to utilizing renewable materials in our projects, prioritising sustainable sourcing and environmentally friendly practices. By contributing to the preservation of natural resources into our designs, we minimise our environmental footprint.
We believe in creating spaces that not only inspire visually but also serve a meaningful purpose. Every detail of our designs is carefully considered to enhance the lives of those who inhabit them.
We’re a tight group of dedicated individuals, working together to create design worth celebrating. And to our mind, work and play go hand in hand.

Balázs began his career as the founder and lead co-designer of the first Hungarian Solar Decathlon team (Odooproject) in 2012. Péter joined Hello Wood in 2019 and has since become the team’s pioneer and in-house expert of CLT structures. With several years of professional experience, education has always played a central role in his career: he has taught architectural design at university level and has participated in multiple Hello Wood building camps – first as a student, later as a team leader. These experiences shaped his belief in ‘acting architecture’ – an active, hands-on approach where design and construction are inseparable. Since his first successful CLT projects, he has continuously designed and delivered award-winning CLT projects of various scales and functions.
