Buda Castle Stable
The Stable contains 6 stands for horses and a 13sqm module that serves as a service room for hussars. When we designed the Stable, we placed great emphasis on its relationship with the environment. In order to preserve the feeling of the overall sight, the building fits in as naturally as possible with the environmental conditions of the Southern Rondella - the sloping terrain, the area narrowing in the horizontal projection and the direction of the road to Rondella.
The section of road along which we designed the longitudinal edge of the Stable crosses the square at an angle. During the construction, by sliding the horse stands on one axis relative to each other and adjusting the angle of the slab structure, we fitted the building to the area as if it had been in place from the beginning.
