Design Workshops for Kids
We’ve been organizing design workshops and summer camps for children for 10+ years. With our experience we are able to get the best out of them and pave their way to become future designers. During our program we emphasize sustainable and healthy living besides the design activities. This means no soda-pops nor chips, but we truly believe that raising the upcoming generations with eco-consciousness is key.
In summer camps and weekend workshops, designers work with children who are interested in crafts and design. During the sessions, the youngsters discover and develop their creative abilities and get to know themselves better… and they have great fun, too! Through active participation, the children receive important help in developing a physically and mentally healthier approach in addition to learning professional tricks.
The workshops can result in an installation, a design furniture, a stop-motion animated short film, artistic photography, graphics, a fashionable dress, jewellery, or even in a spectacular fashion show. Our public installations become real community elements that all participating young people can be proud of. The finished works can also be viewed by parents at the closing events of the course.
Hello Wood Junior’s workshops provide a real opportunity for children to challenge themself in different areas of the dynamically evolving creative industry. Thus, it is not uncommon that experiences in the camp help them choosing a career, having successful higher education studies, or achieving the desired job opportunity later.
