Balatoni Hekk – meaning both hake and hack in Hungarian – the lakeside summer school of Hello Wood was the first platform where students from all the Hungarian architecture and design institutions could meet and work together. The challenges of the construction were preceded by on-site research. The design and artworks were inspired by the cultural context and reflected on real issues. The installations and objects made connection with the built and the natural environment.
