CLT Home Őrség

Deep in the woods near Őriszentpéter, our CLT house offers a peaceful retreat for those seeking to escape the city rush and reconnect with nature. Inspired by local culture and traditions, the house embraces the essence of the region.

Traditions Behind the Concept

The concept of the house was born from an exploration of the heritage of Őriszentpéter. The design of the house’s spaces reflects the traditional "szer"s (small settlements) of the region. The number of spaces corresponds to the number of these former settlements, and the hierarchy of the spaces mirrors the social connections of the "szer"s of the area. Additionally, the house has elements of local folk art, such as the plant motifs above the terrace, which are believed to bring good luck to the owners of the house.
